in this year's Estimates for Praya East Reclamation and a Supplementary Vote of $28,000 will be required to cover this year's expenditure, if the work be sanctioned.

One advantage of having the raising done

now will be that, in rebuilding any houses fronting on the

Praya or streets affected by such raising, these can be built

to suit the altered level.
